• Hate content targeting protected characteristics
• Harassment, threats, or non-consensual intimate imagery
• Copyrighted material you don’t have rights to use
• Scams, fraud, or undisclosed paid promotions

We may remove content, restrict accounts, and report illegal material where required.

By using Shortsify you agree to these Terms, the Community Guidelines, and the Privacy notice. Shortsify is operated from the United Kingdom. Features, access, and availability may vary by country or territory, and we may limit, suspend, or withdraw the service where we need to for legal, safety, or operational reasons. We do not promise the service is available or lawful to use everywhere.

To post you must be at least 16. Watching has no separate age gate on our side, but you must also meet any higher minimum age or other local rules that apply where you live. You are responsible for complying with the laws of your country or territory when you access or use Shortsify.

By posting, you keep ownership of your content and give Shortsify a worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce, and display it on the service so we can operate and improve it.

You are responsible for making sure your upload is lawful where you live and under UK law (including copyright, privacy, and advertising disclosure where relevant). We may remove or refuse posts that break these terms, our guidelines, or applicable law.

Handles (usernames) are identifiers we provide for use on Shortsify. They are not your property and are not guaranteed — especially before an account is fully verified. We may remove, change, reclaim, or reassign a handle at any time, with or without notice, for example if it infringes rights, impersonates someone, breaks our rules, or if the account is inactive, banned, or unverified. You may not buy, sell, or transfer a handle or account.

Some display names and handles are reserved — including well-known people, brands, government bodies, and political office-holders (for example prime ministers and presidents). You cannot take those without approval. To request a reserved name or handle, email [email protected].

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

We process account and upload data to run Shortsify. For UK users and our UK operations, that includes the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. If you access Shortsify from elsewhere, local privacy rules may also apply to you; contact us if you need to exercise rights available under those rules.

You can download a copy of your data or permanently delete your account at any time from Settings (⋯ menu when logged in). You can also contact [email protected] for access, correction, or erasure requests.

Use Settings to control what the public can see on your profile (bio, shorts, and stats). Name, photo, and handle remain visible so others can find and follow you.

Camera access is only used when you choose to record.

Shortsify is built around UK online safety expectations for our UK operations: keep illegal content off the platform, protect younger users, and make reporting easy. Posting is limited to 16+. Similar safety standards apply to how we moderate the service for users elsewhere.

Report anything that looks illegal or harmful as soon as you can.

Use Report on any short (⋯ menu). One report per account. Escalation: 3+ unique reports reduce reach; 6+ hide it from public feeds; 10+ remove it automatically.

You can also email [email protected] with the clip link and reason. For urgent child-safety concerns in the UK, also use CEOP or the IWF. Outside the UK, contact your local law-enforcement or child-protection service as well.
